UYP

Culture

Potential, then the thing in the way.

UYP stands for Unlock Your Potential. The name is the standard for every company in the group. We look for what is already possible, and we do the practical work of making room for it.

Philosophy

  1. 01

    Start with the potential

A person, a team or an operation already has more in it than the current way of working allows. We begin there, not with a product catalogue.

  2. 02

    Name the barrier

The useful question is specific. A manual process. An unclear management conversation. A decision someone keeps postponing. We work on that thing.

  3. 03

    Make a practical response

A system, a programme or a coaching engagement, shaped around the barrier. If it cannot be used on an ordinary working day, it is not finished.

  4. 04

    Leave judgement with people

Software, training and coaching support a decision. They do not take it. The person closest to the work keeps the call that matters.

How we work

  • Straight

We say what the work is, what it is not, and what should be different afterwards. Scope stays visible.

  • Close to the work

We sit with the operation, the team or the person. The offer follows from that, rather than the other way round.

  • One standard

Code, a workshop and a coaching session are different crafts. They share one test: is it useful when the meeting is over?

  • Built to widen

UYP is a name for specialist companies. Systems, Academy and Coaching are the companies working today. The group is meant to hold more, as the work earns them.

Where that shows up

SystemsSoftware and automation that take a repeated task off a team, and stop where a person needs to decide.

AcademyLeadership, management and team programmes commissioned by an organisation, built around the work those people actually do.

CoachingOne person, one conversation, aimed at a change they can name. Confidence, career, or the next decision.
